About the Artist

Saundra Smith Rubiera is a North Carolina artist who's primary work is linocuts. She also works on Prismacolor pencils and markers, and acrylic paints. She has a MFA degree in painting with a minor in printmaking. She is a former art teacher and has illustrated three picture books. Saundra's work has been exhibited in national, regional and local shows. Her business, Dancing Lady Designs, creates custom art and painted furniture for children's rooms.
